Yesterday I shared the story about the Lakers 7th game thriller over the Chicago Bulls in the 1st round of the 1973 NBA playoffs.
I described the sensational sequence by Chamberlain in which he blocked Norm Van Lier’s shot, grabbed the ball and passed, quarterback style, to the streaking Gail Goodrich for the go ahead score that sealed the game and the series.
At the end of the article I wrote, “Oh, how I wish I could see a video of that block and pass by Wilt Chamberlain that saved the season for the Lakers!”
